How Does Your Small Business Engage Using Content?


As a small business owner, you know that content is a must. Content is the reason social media exists & the reason that radio and print media are in a race for non-existence. That is kind of a joke, I’m sure they will find a way to survive. I do know that locally, 15 of the 20 radio stations have declined in the ratings over the last 3 Neilson cycles * As of 8-7-19. The “real world” is a special place, full of amazing people. The Internet is too. However, it can be frustrating and time-consuming. Who is going to spend money with your business & who isn’t? If you are reading this, your content likely only gets a few responses. You have the time to review and respond to everyone that warrants a response or like. Growing a brand from the start is difficult. Last year, I was standing inside of a running car wash giving away my content trying to grow my CIL. I can’t even type this without laughing at myself. I wonder what that owner was thinking, because I wasn’t dressed for the occasion & I don’t believe he ever truly considered hiring me. I am sure his security cameras captured some entertaining content. Again, growing a brand is hard. Creating content is a massive challenge for small business owners, largely because they feel it will be rejected. Ask yourself, how many times have you deleted or removed a post because you were worried about what people would say? Stop letting the POTENTIAL judgement of a few prevent the growth of your brand. Engage with those who want to become exposed to your brand. How does your small business engage using content?
